Cheetah Cubs from Running Wild Conservation
Kayzer and Kimya are born in June 2022. They have been growing up into a close garden, into the facility, with their mother Abi. In the wild, male cheetahs do not stay with the cubs. Female cheetahs have to raise the cubs in solitary.
All those pictures and video has been taken in August 2022.
The cubs spend a lot of time playing, even in the morning. As they are growing up, they run more and more from a side of the garden to another.
The cubs are still in growing fast. Their size has almost doubled between the second and the third month. They go stronger, but also more thirsty of milk.
After the breastfeeding - and the games - the cubs are tired again. Abi can finally have some time for her - and she rests too.
Twice a week, Kayzer and Kimya, with Abi, are going out in the bush around the facility to discover the wild. After some weeks of first impressions, they quickly get confident, and start to feel home into the high grass. They can practice sprint and chases in this vast landscape.
